Furniture, beds, bathrooms, kitchenettes and decorative items are not automatically included unless specifically stated within your quotation. The Nephin is supplied as a professionally finished, fully insulated pod — fixtures, furniture and interior packages can be added as optional extras.
Can the interior layout be customised?
Yes. Every Nephin is built to order, allowing the internal layout, fixtures, fittings and finishes to be configured around the intended use of the pod.
Can The Nephin include a bathroom?
An ensuite bathroom may be available as an optional extra, subject to the final layout, dimensions and services required. Bathroom installations, water connections and wastewater arrangements must be considered as part of the overall site plan.
Can a kitchenette be added?
Yes. A compact kitchenette can be discussed as part of the design process. Available space, electrical requirements, water supply and drainage must all be considered before the layout is confirmed.
Is The Nephin suitable for Airbnb accommodation?
The Nephin can be configured for use as compact guest accommodation and may be suitable for Airbnb and holiday-letting projects. The property owner is responsible for confirming all planning, insurance, fire-safety, tourism, building and commercial accommodation requirements that apply to their site and intended use.
Do I need planning permission?
Planning requirements depend on the location, intended use, duration of placement and individual site circumstances. Although our Accommodation Pods are built on genuine Ifor Williams trailer chassis and supplied as mobile units, customers should confirm all planning and regulatory requirements with their local planning authority before installation or commercial use.
Is electrical work included?
Electrical and lighting provisions can be included depending on the selected specification. Any permanent site connection must be completed and certified by an appropriately qualified electrical contractor.
Can the pod be relocated?
The Nephin is built on a genuine Ifor Williams trailer chassis and can be relocated when required. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the towing vehicle, licence, access route and transport arrangements are suitable for the completed unit.
Where is The Nephin manufactured?
Every Nephin Guest Pod is designed and handcrafted at our manufacturing workshop in Corr na Móna, County Galway.
Can I visit the workshop before ordering?
Yes. We welcome customers to visit our Galway workshop, view our construction quality and discuss layouts, optional extras and project requirements with our team. Workshop visits are available by appointment.
