2. Do I need a special licence to tow a mobile sauna in Ireland? Towing regulations depend entirely on your specific vehicle's manufacturer limits, maximum gross train weight, and your driving licence category. Because mobile saunas are heavy, commercial grade assets, operators frequently require a BE towing licence extension. The Irish Sauna Company does not provide transport legalities; we strictly advise every buyer to independently verify their setup against official Road Safety Authority (RSA) guidelines before towing.

5. Are your mobile saunas insulated for the winter? Yes. Our custom box style trailers feature robust high density insulation and weather resistant sealing designed to withstand heavy Irish rain, high winds, and damp coastal air. They are built with insulated construction designed to support heat retention during year-round use.

6. What type of sauna heater do you use? We offer two primary options depending on your location and operational layout:

• Traditional Wood Burning Stoves: Ideal for off grid locations, beaches, and an authentic, crackling fire atmosphere. We are an Official Harvia Partner and offer Harvia heating options across our range.
• Electric Sauna Heaters: Popular for fixed commercial locations, hotels, and residential spaces where consistent 3-phase power or a dedicated circuit is accessible.

7. How long does it take for the sauna to heat up? Heat-up time varies according to the sauna model, heater specification, outdoor temperature, starting temperature and operating conditions. We can discuss expected performance for the individual build and heating system during specification.

8. Can I customise my mobile sauna? Yes. Because we build to order, units can be tailored to your requirements. 9. How much does a custom mobile sauna cost? We display standard transparent base pricing online for our standard builds. However, total costs will vary if you request custom trade configurations, specialized seating layouts, or custom heating specs. Logistics, Maintenance & Planning

10. Do I need planning permission for a mobile sauna in Ireland? Planning and permission requirements depend on the proposed site, use and local authority requirements. Customers should confirm what permissions, licences or consents may apply to their specific location and operation with the relevant local authority before proceeding.

11. What kind of insurance is required for a sauna business? For commercial operators, public liability insurance is standard practice. While the Irish Sauna Company is strictly a hardware manufacturer and does not provide financial or insurance broker advice, most specialist commercial brokers in Ireland can easily wrap these commercial trailer chassis units into an outdoor leisure policy. We recommend contacting independent brokers directly to arrange a quote alongside your asset planning.

12. Is an ISC build suited for Atlantic coastal conditions? Our mobile saunas are designed for outdoor use in Irish conditions. Our construction approach includes exterior protection, insulated construction and our patent-pending ISC Flowbase™ Technology, which is designed to promote airflow beneath the sauna structure and support ventilation and moisture management. Routine inspection and maintenance remain important, particularly in exposed coastal locations.

13. How do I maintain and clean the sauna? General maintenance is incredibly straightforward. For standard use, we recommend wiping down benches after a session, opening vents to allow proper airflow, and treating the exterior wood annually. Delivery & The Buying Process

14. Do you deliver across Ireland? Our orders are primarily fulfilled on an ex works collection basis from our Connemara workshop. This allows you to complete a final joint viewing with our production team, walk around the build, and ensure you are perfectly comfortable with the trailer configuration and maintenance steps before hitting the road.

15. Can I view the saunas in person before making a decision? We highly encourage you to touch the grain and see the build quality for yourself before making an investment.
