Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Collection (Preferred Method)

At The Irish Sauna Company, we highly encourage customers to collect their sauna units directly from our workshop in Cong, Mayo.

  • Transfer of Ownership: Once the unit has been hitched to the customer's vehicle or loaded onto the customer’s designated transport, legal title and risk of loss pass entirely to the customer.

  • Requirements: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle and towing equipment are rated for the weight of the specific unit purchased.

2. Deliveries within Ireland

We can arrange delivery for sauna units across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland for an additional fee.

  • Delivery Quotes: Shipping costs are not included in the base price of the sauna. Delivery is quoted on a case-by-case basis depending on distance and site accessibility.

  • Site Access: The customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery site is accessible for a large mobile unit. Any delays or failed deliveries due to restricted access will be charged to the customer.

3. UK Deliveries (Roll-on / Roll-off)

For our customers in the UK, we offer a Roll-on / Roll-off (RoRo) dock-to-dock service.

  • Process: We will deliver the unit to the designated departure port in Ireland and arrange for it to be shipped to the customer’s chosen arrival port in the UK.

  • Costs: All shipping fees, port handling charges, and onward transport from the UK port are at the customer's expense.

  • Customs & Duties: The customer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, or customs clearances required for entry into the UK.

4. Delivery Timelines

As our saunas are bespoke and handcrafted, delivery or collection dates are estimated at the time of order. We will coordinate a final date with you once production is nearing completion. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, port disruptions, or adverse weather.

5. Inspection upon Receipt

Whether collecting in person or receiving a delivery, customers must inspect the unit for any transport damage before signing for the receipt. Any issues must be noted immediately.
