Every sauna manufactured by The Irish Sauna Company is handcrafted in Galway using premium materials and built for long term commercial use.
We take great pride in the quality of our workmanship and stand behind every sauna we manufacture.
This Warranty Policy explains the warranty cover provided by The Irish Sauna Company and identifies those components that are covered directly by their respective manufacturers.
1. Irish Sauna Company Manufacturing Warranty
The Irish Sauna Company provides a 2 Year Manufacturing Warranty from the date of collection or handover.
This warranty covers defects arising from the workmanship and manufacture of the sauna unit by The Irish Sauna Company.
The warranty includes the structural integrity of the sauna shell and frame manufactured by us, provided the sauna has been installed, operated and maintained in accordance with our maintenance guidance.
2. Third Party Manufacturer Warranties
Certain components supplied with your sauna are manufactured by specialist third party manufacturers and are covered by their own warranty terms.
These include, but are not limited to:
- Ifor Williams Trailer Chassis – Covered by the Ifor Williams manufacturer's warranty (currently 1 year).
- Harvia Commercial Wood-Burning Stove – Covered by Harvia's commercial manufacturer's warranty (currently 6 months).
- Any additional third-party equipment or accessories supplied with your sauna.
Warranty claims relating to these components should normally be made directly with the relevant manufacturer in accordance with their warranty terms. Should you require assistance, please contact The Irish Sauna Company and we will be happy to help direct you to the appropriate manufacturer.
3. What Our Manufacturing Warranty Covers
Subject to the terms of this policy, our manufacturing warranty covers defects resulting from:
- Structural manufacturing defects.
- Defects in workmanship.
- Manufacturing faults affecting the sauna shell or structure.
- Defects in materials supplied and installed by The Irish Sauna Company.
Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, we will, at our discretion:
- Repair the defect;
- Replace the affected component; or
- Provide another appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.
4. What Is Not Covered
Our manufacturing warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Natural timber movement, grain variation, knots, weathering or colour changes.
- Cosmetic ageing due to outdoor exposure.
- Damage caused by improper use, misuse or neglect.
- Failure to follow the recommended maintenance schedule.
- Accidental damage.
- Damage caused during transportation by third parties.
- Storm, flood, fire or other events outside our reasonable control.
- Modifications or repairs carried out by unauthorised persons.
- Components covered by separate manufacturer warranties.
5. Owner Responsibilities
To maintain warranty cover, customers must:
- Operate the sauna in accordance with all supplied operating instructions.
- Carry out routine maintenance as recommended.
- Use only appropriate fuels where wood burning stoves are installed.
- Protect the sauna from avoidable damage.
- Notify The Irish Sauna Company promptly if a potential manufacturing defect is identified.
6. Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your sauna has developed a manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
When making a claim, please provide:
- Your name and contact details.
- Original purchase information.
- The sauna serial number (where applicable).
- Photographs clearly showing the issue.
- A brief description of the problem.
Where appropriate, we may also arrange an inspection of the sauna unit before determining the most suitable remedy.
7. Commercial Warranty & Maintenance Agreement
Every sauna supplied by The Irish Sauna Company is accompanied by our Commercial Warranty & Maintenance Agreement.
This document sets out the full warranty conditions, maintenance requirements, operational guidance and customer handover documentation. It is reviewed and signed by both parties at the time of collection or handover.
