ISC Structural Warranty β€” 2-Year Limited Guarantee

Every Irish Sauna Company unit. Built in Galway. Backed by us.

At The Irish Sauna Company, we take immense pride in the durability, engineering, and craftsmanship of our builds. We design and construct our saunas to thrive in the harsh Atlantic climate. To give our commercial clients total confidence, every ISC unit's core structure is covered by our 2-Year Limited Structural Warranty.

βœ… What is Covered

This warranty covers exclusively the structural integrity of the sauna shell and frame manufactured by us, for a period of two (2) years from the date of handover/collection. This is strictly limited to:

  • The structural soundness of the timber stud frame, floor frame, and internal structural chassis.
  • The structural integrity of the external cladding and the ISC Flowbaseβ„’ ventilation system.
  • Protection against structural rot or significant structural warping that compromises the safety or basic functionality of the unit (provided the mandatory ISC maintenance schedule has been strictly followed).

Β

❌ What is Not Covered

To protect our business and yours, we draw a strict legal boundary between our structural craftsmanship and external components, third-party manufacturing, or natural wood behavior.

The Irish Sauna Company explicitly excludes and does not cover the following:

  • Third-Party Equipment, Trailers, and Fire Issues

We manufacture the sauna shell only. All third party components integrated into our units are excluded from the ISC warranty and are covered solely by their respective manufacturers. We do not cover, repair, or accept liability for any trailer mechanical issues, heater electrical/mechanical faults, or fire damage.

In the event of a fault, you must claim directly with the manufacturer:

  • Heaters (Harvia): Covered separately under Harvia's 6 Months to 2-year commercial appliance warranty depending on appliance.

  • Trailers (Ifor Williams): Covered separately under Ifor Williams' 1 year commercial chassis warranty.

  • Fire Damage: Any damage caused by fire, overheating, improper stove operation, or failure to clear combustible materials is strictly excluded from our structural warranty and must be referred to the heating component manufacturer's safety guidelines or your commercial property insurance provider.
  • Surface Checking and Splitting: Small, superficial cracks appearing on the exterior timber or internal benches due to rapid heating and cooling cycles.
  • Natural Silvering and Discolouration: Fading, bleaching, or weathering of the external timber cladding from UV exposure and Atlantic salt air.
  • Sap/Pitch Bleeding: Natural resin weeping or "bleeding" from spruce or alder wood pores under high internal temperatures.
  • Cosmetic Staining: Water marks, footprint stains, or oil discolouration on internal benches and floor shifting from heavy public use.

⚠️ Additional Exclusions

  • Glazing & Glass: Due to the extreme thermal stress of high heat environments and the inherent operational risks of mobile transit, windows and glass doors are not covered after the signed initial handover inspection.
  • Neglect & Maintenance Failures: Damage caused by a failure to follow the mandatory ISC Maintenance Guide (e.g., failing to re-treat the exterior wood annually, leaving the stove overloaded, or using improper chemical cleaners).
  • Accidental, Transport, or Environmental Damage: Damage caused by vehicular collisions, improper towing, exceeding maximum towing speeds, third-party site positioning, fallen trees, or "Acts of God" (extreme weather events exceeding standard Irish meteorological conditions).

πŸ“‹ How to Make a Claim

Should a structural shell issue arise within the 2 year period, please contact our workshop at info@irishsaunacompany.com with your original order details, invoice number, and clear photographic evidence of the structural defect.

The Irish Sauna Company will assess the claim. Where a manufacturing defect in our timber structure is confirmed, we will, at our sole discretion, arrange for the repair or replacement of the affected structural component at our workshop.

All warranty work is conducted on an Ex Works / workshop gate basis; transport of the unit to and from our facility for warranty assessments is the sole responsibility and cost of the owner.
