Every static sauna is handcrafted to order in our Galway workshop. Our team is here to help make the journey from our workshop to your garden as straightforward as possible.
Your sauna is delivered fully assembled, ready to be placed in its agreed position and electrically connected by your appointed electrician.
Delivery Arranged With Care
We’re happy to help coordinate delivery, discuss access requirements and liaise with trusted transport partners where specialist lifting may be needed. We’ll help you understand the arrangements before your sauna is dispatched. The delivery provider, charges and responsibilities will be confirmed for your order.
Delivery Costs
Typical delivery costs range from €600–€1,400. The final quotation depends on your location, property access, sauna size and any specialist lifting required. Complex deliveries, including crane lifts, may cost more. Delivery is additional to advertised sauna prices unless specifically included.
Preparing Your Sauna Base
Before delivery, please prepare a level, solid, well-drained base strong enough to support your sauna. A concrete base or suitable level paving slabs or patio may be appropriate. The customer arranges and pays for groundwork and base preparation. Not sure what you need? Ask us and we’ll explain the requirements for your chosen sauna.
Access, Unloading & Positioning
Before delivery, it's important to make sure your sauna can safely reach its intended location.
Please check gates, driveways, narrow entrances, trees, overhead cables, ground conditions and unloading space.
Our normal delivery service includes unloading your sauna (lifting it off the delivery vehicle) and placing it in its agreed position in your garden, provided suitable access is available and the necessary lifting arrangements have been agreed in advance.
Depending on the size of your sauna and access to your property, this may require a HIAB vehicle (a truck with a lifting crane) or specialist lifting equipment.
Where specialist lifting equipment is required, the cost will be included in your delivery quotation or clearly identified as an additional charge before your order is confirmed.
Depending on your property's access and layout, you may also need to speak directly with the delivery company to discuss any specific requirements. This helps ensure everyone is on the same page and that your sauna can be delivered and positioned safely and smoothly.
Don't worry, our team is happy to help you understand what's needed and coordinate arrangements with suitable delivery companies where possible.
If there are any concerns about access, please let us know before confirming your order. If the delivery team cannot safely reach the agreed position, additional lifting arrangements or a return visit may be required, which could result in additional charges. Any such charges will be discussed with you before further work is arranged.
Electrical Requirements
Your electric garden sauna comes with the heater and controls specified in your order.
You will need to arrange and pay for a Registered Electrical Contractor (qualified electrician) to connect your sauna to your property's electricity supply.
Your electrician will need to check that your electrical supply is suitable, carry out the necessary installation, and test and certify their work.
We recommend speaking to your electrician early so everything is ready when your sauna arrives.
Don't worry, we'll provide the relevant heater specifications to help your electrician plan the installation.
Electrical installation and final connection are not included in the sauna purchase price. Irish Sauna Company does not carry out the customer's electrical installation.
Payment Before Collection or Delivery
A 50% deposit secures your production slot, with the remaining 50% payable when the sauna is complete. We accept bank transfers and card payments. The full outstanding balance must be paid before your sauna is released for collection, dispatch or delivery. Bank transfers must have cleared in Irish Sauna Company's bank account, and card payments must have been successfully processed and confirmed by Irish Sauna Company. A pending transfer or proof of payment alone is not sufficient. Full purchase terms will be provided before deposit payment.

We're Here to Help
Our primary role is to design and manufacture your sauna to the agreed specification. Groundwork, site preparation, electrical installation and separately contracted transport services are not part of our standard manufacturing service, but we’re happy to offer practical information and assistance where reasonably possible.
This guide applies to static garden saunas only, not mobile sauna trailers. Delivery arrangements and responsibilities depend on the terms agreed for your order. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
